DeLaura Middle School will be having Cheerleading Tryouts for any 7th and 8th during the 2026-2027 school year. These tryouts are for the Fall 2026 Basketball Season and other school events. This will be the ONLY cheerleading tryout offered for the 2026–2027 school year. Try out Dates are April 13, 14, 15, and 20 at 4:30. Information has been shared with feeder elementary schools and will be posted on the DeLaura website for students not currently enrolled at DeLaura.
Students must be zoned for DeLaura Middle School for the 2026-2027 school year or currently in the ELO process to participate.
All important details are included on the flyer. A Parent Meeting will be held on March 19, where we will review expectations, commitment requirements, costs, and answer any questions families may have.
A physical packet must be completed on www.aktivate.com for the 2025-2026 school year to try out. (If you make the team, you will need to complete additional AKTIVATE information for the 2026-2027 school year after it opens in June.) If you have already completed an AKTIVATE packet, you can log back into your account to verify it is still valid. )
